Dr Garry Chung has an interest in day to day general practice, and believes in a preventative health and lifestyle approach to wellness, mental health and chronic disease. He also has experience doing pre-employment medicals and immigrant visa medicals as well as simple skin excisions and contraceptive insertion.
Dr Choy graduated from the University of Auckland in 2007. He completed most of his postgraduate training in South Australia at the Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals before joining general practice in 2012. He has spent time working in the Northern Territory and rural South Australia (Yorke Peninsula). Dr Choy is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (since 2014) and also an examiner for the RACGP. He has a special interest in chronic disease management – especially diabetes, asthma, COPD and obesity – and also performs minor procedures including contraceptive insertion and removal, and skin lesion excisions.
Dr Mario has a degree in MBBS from the University of Adelaide and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). He has been working in general practice for 25 years and as a visiting registered medical officer for western palliative care services. His special interests include paediatrics, palliative care, chronic disease management, acute medical care, aesthetic medicine, minor surgery and mental health care (especially depression/anxiety/counselling).
Dr Sachin (Joshi) is a fellow and member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has a strong interest in General Medicine, Paediatric, Dermatology, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Geriatrics. He provides Health Assessments, Chronic Disease Management and Coordinated Veterans Care (CVC) in conjunction with our qualified nurse. He does minor skin lesion surgery. He is qualified to do Implanon insertion and removal. Dr Joshi is a registered doctor with InjuryNET and competent to do Q-Fever vaccination. He migrated with his wife in 2005 and has since had 2 children. In his leisure time, he likes to watch cricket and play table tennis and golf. He is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and English.
Dr Gaurang Prajapati is a fellow and member of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has a strong interest in paediatrics, chronic disease (including diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart disease and dermatology); mens’ health; mental health; and musculoskeletal medicine. He enjoys performing minor surgical procedures – skin cancer removal and Implanon insertion and removal. He also deals with Workcover injuries, motor vehicle accidents and pre-employment medical assessments. In his free time, he likes to spend quality time with his family and play long games of tennis. He is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and English.
Dr Jenny Chong graduated from the University of Adelaide and worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for 3 years. Her special interests include educating patients in the management of chronic diseases: such as asthma, emphysema, diabetes and high blood pressure. Her current focus includes preventative health care and weight management, particularly body image aspects regarding nutrition, exercise and social expectations. Jenny advocates for advance care planning within the greater community and participates in the Palliative Care Shared Care Programme for patients requiring end of life care. Jenny is also experienced in the areas of women’s health, contraception advice and contraceptive insertion.
